| Recitals Australia is a non profit organization providing performance opportunities for talented musicians. The society is unique in its ability to provide an unequalled opportunity for students to obtain a concert platform using world class instruments without financial burden. |
| The society's tradition of fostering musical talent is dependent on both community and corporate support. All profits are used to provide scholarships and promotion for young local talent, and bring national and international artists to the Adelaide stage. In 2008 the organisation entered into an exciting new sponsorship deal with Yamaha Music, which is used to invigorate the youth support program. |
| Recitals Australia plays a unique role in the musical life of Adelaide, by providing over 100 performance opportunities for artists of all ages and levels. The youngest are able to participate in Home Recitals; more experienced and semi-professional artists, and professionals seeking additional opportunities, are included in the Lunch Hour Series each Wednesday. |
| Each year Recitals Australia holds a subscription series of concerts that showcase a range of professional national and international performers. The whole program of recitals is managed by a voluntary council, many of whom are also professional musicians. |
