In 2006 Warwick was awarded his LMusA with Distinction and received the LMusA prize whilst he was also the inaugural winner of the Lance Dossor Memorial Prize from The University of Adelaide. Since 2001 Warwick has been a student of Professor David Lockett at the Elder Conservatorium of Music. Warwick has won numerous awards in Eisteddfods including first place in the 2002 Junior Piano Concerto Competition and he was runner up in the 2004, 2005 and 2006 Adelaide Keyboard Concerto Competition. He has twice been named the most outstanding pianist 16 years and under at the Adelaide Eisteddfod as well as winning the aggregate prize. In 2006 and 2007 he was named the most promising pianist 17 years and over at the same event and won the Keyboard Recital section. In 2006, 2007 and 2008 he was also awarded a Recitals Australia Performance Scholarship. In 2005 and 2007 Warwick represented South Australia in the National Final of the Yamaha Youth Piano Competition. He is a scholarship recipient of The University of Adelaide, The Music Teachers Association, The St Peters Rotary Club, The Adelaide Metropolitan Male Choir, Recitals Australia and the AMEB. Warwick has explored other musical avenues in 2006 participated in conducting master classes as part of the Symphony Australia Conducting Development Program with British Maestro Christopher Seamen. Warwick is a graduate of Marryatville High School, where he was School Captain and is currently studying Law, Arts and Music at the University of Adelaide.
